The lights are on
I'm going to reason with you: The main reason that I agreed to stay up at absurd hours for Sony's Tokyo Game Show 2010 press conference was in hopes of finally hearing some new info on The Last Guardian. The news is light, unfortunately, but we got a bit!
During the press conference, Sony debuted a new trailer for the game. At the end of the video, they also showed off an intended release window for the first time ever: holiday 2011.
first day buy for sure. i want
I'm excited for this game. Seems so far away though!
wow how disappointing. i was looking forward to this game
UGH! 2011 Holiday? Then why did they show it in 2009 Summer? I hate it when developers show their games over 2 years in advance. Heck I hate it when it's over a year most the time, lol. This just seems kinda weird cuz didn't both Ico and SotC just pop out of nowhere?
awesome cant wait for the trailer
Don't care how expensive the limited edition is, if it has one that is. But I am going to get it!
At least we have a final release date.
I see a bright future in Sony, yes I do.
Wow this game looks phenomenal I can't wait to have my emotions tugged until they finally kill the guardian.
I've been jonesin' for some Last Guardian news.
Take all the time you need to make it right fellas, I can be patient for a title such as this.
this video is great. ugh, so adorable. awesome.
Looks awesome. Can't wait!
The creature itself is really interesting. It's like it's got the body of a bird, the head of a dog, and many of the mannerisms of a cat.
Also, did anyone else notice in the part where the creature picked the boy up, the boy was struggling? Does that give anyone else the sense that these two might not always be working together? Perhaps that sequence was just from the beginning of the game, before a relationship is established.
Also, the creature has personality. And the music was uplifting. It looks like a game that'd have you really establishing a partnership with this beast. I think it's safe to say, then, that the developers are going to rip our hearts out when we are forced to kill the creature at the end of the game.
Looks better every time I see it. Definitely going to check this out.
I think I'm going to bawl my eyes out when that thing dies.
Just watched the trailer. I want a giant guardian of my own! That would be TOO cool.
I want this game ... but i don't have a ps3 :(
Excelente. I cant wait for it.
Uhhh, that's it? I held some optimism for this, but it looks like it will play much like Ico (which I thought was horrible and boring) which I was afraid of. I'll pass.
