Valkyria Chronicles 3 Only For PSP

There's no going home again for Valkyria Chronicles fans who had hoped that the third installment in the franchise would return to the PlayStation 3. Sega has announced Valkyria Chronicles 3 for the PSP.

Producer Shinji Motoyama says that he's heard fans' request for another PS3 game in the series, but he says that his ideas for a console title would instead be captured an entirely different game.

Valkyria Chronicles 3 will apparently feature a more story driven mission structure, as well as a new command interface.

Sega has not announced a U.S. date for this new title, but it will come out in Japan early next year.
