Sony Offers Free Stuff To Celebrate Anniversary
The PlayStation brand is turning 15, and Sony is thanking its fans with these virtual gifts.
If you've bought all the major PlayStation consoles since launch, you've enriched Sony by hundreds if not thousands of dollars. As a thank you, they'd like to offer you some virtual pictures and trinkets.
To celebrate the PlayStation 15th anniversary, PlayStation 3 and PSP owners will be able to hop onto the PlayStation Store and grab some new downloadable static themes. There are also some discounts on PSOne downloadable titles. Finally, players can go onto Home and (drum roll, please) get a commemorative PSOne ornament for their virtual space.
When detailing the special promotion, Sony did not include reminder instructions on how to access Home from your PS3 console.
