The lights are on
EA Partners' David DeMartini is supremely confident in the new game from the Ratchet & Clank and Resistance developer.
Insomniac only just signed a deal to go multiplatform with EAP in May, and the publisher is already starting the hype train. In a recent interview with Eurogamer, DeMartini said Insomniac "regularly has set a bar at 90 in Metacritic. I think this game is going to exceed that bar. It is a really great creative idea that they're executing on marvellously so far."
He didn't go as far as revealing any details on the new project, but teased that info is coming before too long.
"There's a lot of time between now and the finish line, but based on their track record, I'm highly confident they're going to get there," DeMartini said. "I think sooner rather than later we're going to be sharing some early concepts on that one because they've made so much progress. They're in a great position."

RRAAAARRL
ANNOUNCE THE GAME ALREADY.
Let's hope it lives up to the claims.
I believe in Insomniac. I guess EAP does too.
Now announce it!
My bullsh*t meter just went off. I'd rather hear something like this from the actual developers rather than some EA rep wanting to build hype. Hopefully the game actually is as good as he says, though.
I'm glad to hear Insomniac is going multiplatform.
BARBIE DANCING GAME!! Can I get a WOOT??
Bragging about a game you haven't announced?.....stupid
I don't think this is a Nostradomus level prediction. I mean who doesn't expect anything Insomniac does to be great. Especially since they have a whole new audience to impress.
Insomniac?
Creative?
Haha no
Thats a big statement, I hope the game lives up to it.
I am sure it will.
I'm buying it either way.
Big talk, they better produce.
MY FAVORITE COMPANY WILL GO 90+!?!?!?!?!?!? AAAAWWWEEESSSSOOOMMMMEEE!!!!!
don't they always go above 90?
I'm very excited now.
I wouldn't doubt it really, every game I've ever played from them (especially Resistance 2) is very high-quality. Kudos for Insomniac.
What's funny is that a few months ago Insomniac was hiring testers. I'm only one state away from their offices, but not yet ready to leave. That still would've been amazing.
