The lights are on
Everyone remain calm. We don’t want complete chaos over this, but Valve is showing off Portal 2’s co-op gameplay at this year’s PAX, and we’ve got some of the first screens showing off the mode.
As you can see from the screens below, Portal 2’s co-op mode will feature plenty of falling into portals, giant lasers walls, and public robot hugging. Valve’s Portal site even has a video about co-op, which you should go watch immediately if you haven’t already.
The game is scheduled to come out on February 9th, so start looking for friends now. It looks like you’ll actually want some for this.

Hmmm, I'd wager a penny that co-op could have been the big reason for pushing back the release date on Portal 2.

So i guess robot sex is the new thing in games. Well i guess Playboy has some new ideas for games now.
I'm preparing my mind to be blown by the puzzles for coop. These are going to keep me and my brother busy for a long time, I'm sure.
I think it'll be really awkward to play with a friend if they keep hugging.

yeah, this game will be amazing, especially with multiplayer. Single player in Portal with friends around you = fun. Portal with a friend solving puzzles with you = fun x 1,000,000! hehe... and there are some pranks you can do with your friend... one portal under a friend, and the other on another part of the floor = funny! or try to cause him to do an infinite fling jump... the possibilities are endless!
People say portal 2 is going to be challanging because of all the new gameplay aditions, and htat co-op will have you coordinating 4 portals, but I'm more scared of Portal 3 which will have even more gameplay aditions, and most likely 4 player co-op, at that point Portal 3 stratagy guides will become the #1 best-seller in the world
