The lights are on
It's really real. Duke Nukem Forever is being published by 2K Games and developed by Gearbox. Here are our first hand impressions.
Here are some quick notes notes on the game, courtesy of Andrew Reiner's time with the PAX demo:
Here's a blurry picture of the demo room. You can see that the game is running on the Xbox 360:
Here's a picture of Andy playing the demo:
Pitchford told us that Gearbox started working on the game a year ago and that the company owns the IP. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as we can. Man, Duke Nukem Forever is actually coming out in 2011. Who would've thought?

Can we get a larger version of the picture at the top of the article? Please?
OMG!!!!! I can't wait. My best-friend and I spent hours in throwing money at the strippers so they could shake there "breasts" at us.
I bet this is just an early, extremely elaborate April Fool's joke.
hahaha finally!!! i'm so happy!!!!
This is unbelievable. Am I the only one who thinks that guy who has the longest standing pre-order for this game should get it for free? Maybe some special edition made just for him? Seriously, that guy must be flipping out right now.
That said, go Gearbox. Seriously, way to get people excited about Duke again. Now, if you can just finish up that Aliens: Colonial Marines game, please.
Gearbox is great, but this franchise is not that interesting anymore enough for me to care. Knowing me, I'm sure my mind will change as it gets closer to completion.
No freakin' way.
Long live the duke
.... Really? No bull? It's been, what, at least 12 years since the game was announced?
wait for iiittt... wait for iiittt....
IT'S ACTUALLY COMING?
*watches pigs fly en masse*
Proof that Duke Nukem is invincible.
GI you just blew my mind away. I can't believe this game is actually coming out.
Awesome news, but I'll belive it when I see DNF sitting on the shelf at my local gamestop.
I always thought Duke Nukem was stupid. It combines immature humor and a bunch of gore, and somehow got successful. Maybe I'm just hating, but that's the way I see it.
Lol at the picture with Duke in a space suit and on his sleeve says balls of steel.
Whoa he's crazy epic for just that photo. :O
AMAZING TO THE TENTH DEGREE!
