Resident Evil 6 Coming "As Soon As Possible"
We love the Resident Evil series so much that we recently made a list of all the things we would like to see in Resident Evil 6. According to Keiji Inafune, Capcom is just as enthusiastic about the series, and hopes to have the next installment out "as soon as possible."
"Given the great success which led to us Resident Evil 5, we want Resident Evil 6 to hit the market as soon as possible," Inafune told 3DJuegos. "In fact, Capcom will have news about this soon..."
That's all the information we have so far, but we're hoping that by "soon" Inafune is referring to a possible announcement at this year's TGS, which will be happening later this month. Given Inafune's earlier statement today about the lethargic state of gaming in Japan, we hope Capcom has something really epic in store for Resident Evil 6.
