H.A.W.X. 2 Takes To The Skies In Retro Game

by Jeff Cork on Sep 02, 2010 at 03:40 AM

Are you bored at work with absolutely nothing at all to do? Well, what do you know? I am, too. (Please don't tell Reiner.)

Fortunately, there's a great, big Internet out there, with plenty of free stuff to play around with. Ubisoft has tossed a new H.A.W.X. 2 Web game into the toy box, and it's a great way to kill a few minutes. It features old-school shooter gameplay with an appropriately retro soundtrack, plenty of enemies to shoot, and a handful of upgradable powerups. (Protip: Spreadgun rules.) Keeping with the H.A.W.X. theme, planes are equipped with enhanced reality systems, which give you temporary invincibility.

Also, if you clack your keys frequently enough, it'll sound like you're typing something very important, instead of just flying a make-believe airplane in the Ural Mountains.
