The lights are on
Microsoft has released a new video for Halo: Reach, and even nonfans should give it a look. The live-action short depicts some of the sacrifices that Noble Team made in their doomed attempt to defend Reach from a Covenant invasion. It was directed by Noam Murro (director of Smart People) and was filmed in Prague. In addition to doing a good job of getting us even more interested in the game, it's a stinging reminder of just how cool a live-action Halo film could have been.
The clip will be used in a Deliver Hope TV ad campaign starting August 29, so watch it now if you like spoiling commercials for your friends and family.

so very emotional. hopefully the story shares the same feeling. but one things continues to bug me... if these live action scenes are so good, why hasn't there been a movie made?! make it happen Microsoft!
Oh look, another actiony commercial with slow sad piano music. How original.
i so wish they would do a movie already...its drives me crazy when they show things like this and then its so short
Great spot! Quite moving, especially with the stirring music. I actually favor the Covenant though (Elites at least), so even if it's a major theme I can't say I feel bummed by the human tragedy.
average...
Pretty cool, but they should have shown him fly back down to save his friend.
All the live action shorts are amazing
