The lights are on
Scans have spread around the Internet today depicting a Game Informer review for Metroid: Other M. Most of the time our reviews are the same text and score internationally, but in this particular case we had separate U.S. and Australian opinions due to differing embargoes. Our U.S. review is embargoed until this Friday, but we can say that the text and author are not the same and the numerical score is very different than the 8 that our Australian brethren bestowed on Samus' latest adventure. Tune in Friday for a different perspective on Metroid: Other M.

Is it for better or worse ?( i assume it wil be the latter since the in the preview you said it had many faults)
It looks good. I hope you gave it a fairly high score.
Its a different score ah well even if it is a 7 or 9 I don't care been looking forward to this game for awhile now score is not going to stop me from getting it.
i really really want this game to get an amazing score...
There's a game informer Australia? Are there enough games not banned in Australia worth having an entire magazine issue to write about?
No matter what this game will be awesome.
Very different than 8? hmmm... I'm guessing your score is going to be a ...6 maybe?
Either way im getting it but i really hope its higher, this was one of my most anticipated games
the score is very different compared to Australia?
by very different do you mean like a 9 or 6
I think there are dancing kangeroos in one scene which some australians find pretty offensive
I don't know i saw the controls this morning at gamestop and they look kind of jacked up.
What does "Very Different" mean? A '7' or '9' isn't VERY different, y'know?
Also, I don't care. I preordered this baby a few days ago. That *** US TV ad (which I ironically, haven't seen on tv anywhere yet) is awesome enough to get me to go drop some cash on it immediately.
Now, if only Nintendo of America actually put that ad on tv. A lot. Like how MS plasters the airwaves with Halo: Reach commercials months before the game is coming out. That would be nice - to live in a world where Nintendo wasn't a tightass when it came to spending their dirty "Wii Fit" money.
I'm really hoping this is a good one!
i doubt it'll be higher, gameinformer hates the wii so its rare for a wii gaem to get a good score.
Gah....an 8 isn't bad at all, but I hope the US score is higher. I'm still gonna get it, but I hope the reviews are good for it.
