Rocksteady's primary composer talks about carrying over musical elements from the first game, plays some segments from the teaser trailer live, and pulls out subtle elements that you may not have noticed on the first listen. • I loved the music, but couldn't buy the score for the game ANYWHERE!

  • You know, I really admire this stuff.

I'm a music major and just did a small project for scoring for a movie...kinda similar, but not nearly as intricate and awesome!
  • Wow. Epic. Truly Epic. This game will be truly awesome.

  • I can't wait for this game!!!

I love seeing that there is so much detail put in to little things that I normally take for granted, like the music.  That music makes the mood and gets you pumped for the actual game!!!

  • I love hearing the talents behind the music discuss their creative processes.  It's awesome! Great video!

  • Batman music never disappoints :) Can't wait for this game

  • Wife: Nick! Quit playing with your music doodads and come to bed!

Nick: Just one minute darling! *stares at screen for another 3 hours*

Sorry folks but this is just what popped into my head when watching this video. This guy sure has talent however.

  • Love it.

  • nice. that music was perfectly creepy, very fitting for the joker

  • I really did enjoy that. The first's music was awesome and I'm sure it will be in Batman: Arkham City.

  • Mr. Arendul is just plain brilliant. can't wait to hear this next game.

  • This is awesome!!!

  • this guy's probably a raver

  • This is the kind of behind-the-scenes/creative insight that I want to see more of from gameinformer.  Keep it coming!

  • Wow! Never thought there was so much thought behind scores of video game trailers

  • I love learning new words. Who knew "chromatic" applied to sound? I always knew it by it's other meaning, pertaining to color. A word to have two meanings, one pertaining entirely to sight (color) and the other to sound... wonderful.

There is so much going on in sound design that the untrained ear doesn't pick up on... so much craftsmanship and laying and zomgwtfbbq I need a nap. Cool guy, cool video.

  • What a talented composer

  • Awesome, music is sounding great so far, very dark in tone like the game is.

    Well done.

  • That's awesome. Man I need a job like that haha

  • Wow, I just bored myself...
