The death of Aeris -- or is it Aerith these days? -- in Final Fantasy VII is one of the most memorable moments in gaming history. Fanboys shed a tear once Sephiroth's Masamune sword impaled the lowly flower girl. Throughout the years, artists have applied their personal touch to Aerith's shocking goodbye.
