The lights are on
There are a lot of things I love about Fallout 3, but one of the things I love the most is the vast arsenal of weaponry you uncover in the distant, destroyed future. From rusted pistols to high-power explosives to freakin' laser rifles, there's something for everyone. One incredibly talented artist took it upon himself to bring one of the game's more fantastic guns -- the A3-21 plasma rifle -- into the real world.
The impressive replica pictured above comes from Ryan Palser. Check out the full photo set on Flickr to see the many parts that went into bringing the weapon out of the game and into the real world. And for comparison's sake, here's what the gun looks like in-game:
Pretty close! Now if only he can get it functioning for the inevitable super mutant attacks...
Oh, and if this isn't awesome enough, Palser also did a great replica of the AER9 laser rifle from Fallout 3. I can't wait to see what he does next!

I really wish I could buy these, just to walk around with them mysteriously attached to my back.
*Psss* Hey,don't give it to Ben.He might have ideas to rule the world.
Awesome on an epic scale of awesome.
A M A Z I N G ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
i see spending a lot of money in the near future
Pretty cool, makes me more excited to play New Vegas ;)
... if only i had the mezz gun.
This is really cool. Now, if only someone would rig one to shoot paintballs or airsoft.
One of the most trust worthy guns in the wasteland, the A3-21. I *** love it.
I want one. It would be really cool if it worked too, but that's just my inner geek speaking.
Oh man, if I was rich I would totally buy one from him.
Now make a working fatman!!!
where the monsters at?
just badass. Plain and simple
I can haz?
Those look sweet!
I have been looking for a replica laser rifle ever since Fallout 3 came out. I wonder if he's interested in selling. Not that I have any money right now after upgrading my PC and fixing my car's brake lines.
