Dawn Of War II: Retribution Announced, Includes Multiple Races For Campaign
The unfortunately-titled Space Marine isn't the only Warhammer game currently in the works from Relic. The developer is also continuing work on its popular RTS, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II. THQ and Relic have announced the second expansion for DoWII, titled Retribution.
Retribution's seems to widen the campaign experience, allowing players to experience the events of the single-player story from the perspective of multiple races. The original Dawn of War II and the first expansion, Chaos Rising, focused heavily on the Space Marines. Retribution will finally allow players to witness the campaign from different points of view.
Retribution is planned for release in the first quarter of 2011. So far, Relic has only revealed the Orks as a playable race, but more are promised.
