S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 In 2012
This year saw the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pipyat, and Ukrainian developer GSC Game World is rolling on with another title in the franchise. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is expected sometime in 2012 for multiple platforms.
The game will be the "next chapter" in the series, according to GSC CEO Sergiy Grygorovych, who promises that the game will run an all-new technology developed by the company itself. There aren't any details about the game itself yet, but perhaps it's worth noting that this is the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel to actually be numbered. Before Call of Pipyat (shown) there was 2008's Clear Sky, which was a prequel to the original game, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
