The lights are on
Valve, being Valve, is giving fans of Team Fortress 2 more than just an update. The company has plans to give TF 2 an all-new game mode as well as other welcome additions.
Although Valve hasn't outlined exactly what this new game mode is (or committed to a hard release date), it's exciting nonetheless – as is the news that this update will allow players to trade items. Also along for the ride are 20 or so items, some of which will be from the recent Polycount Pack, which was a fan contest asking members of the Polycount community to come up with a set of themed items for one of the game's nine classes.
This new update is expected next month, but that – of course – is subject to change.

With all the constant updates and changes, is TF2 newbie friendly? I tried it briefly on console and just hated the way it controlled... very much a keyboard and mouse game. But yea, building a PC in the next few months, surely gonna try my hand at this game again... hope I don't get stomped too hard.
