Check out prices and trailers from this week's best downloadable releases.

The movie is days away, but you can get started on Scott Pilgrim mania right now with Ubisoft's fantastic new retro game, based on the hit cult comic and new film. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is an old-school brawler through-and-through, with fantastic pixel art and animation that brings Bryan Lee O'Malley's characters to life in a whole new way. Scott Pilgrim can only be found on PlayStation Network for PS3 over these first few weeks, and it will cost you $9.99. However, if you have the patience, the game will arrive on XBLA on August 25th. Not sold on this game yet? Just check out the trailer.

Microsoft's Summer of Arcade has its fourth entry today; Monday Night Combat arrives to please multiplayer combat fans that aren't looking to break the bank. The game mixes traditional arena third-person matches with a tower defense sensibility, along with more than a little tongue-in-cheek humor along the way. There are two distinct modes within the game, including a four-player cooperative blitz mode against waves of enemies, and a six-on-six crossfire mode for fans of competitive action. Six unique classes let you approach the game the way you want. Monday Night Combat will set you back 1200 Microsoft points ($15).
