BC2 needs some new content. I never thought I'd say this, but I lost interest in BC2 a while ago and have gone back to playing CoD...

I don't see it as that bad of an option if you buy the game new; it's free right?  But if you bought it used I could see getting angry over having to pay to play different styles on the same maps.  I think this one should be a free gimmie to all the community.

why cant they just give us new maps instead of the same maps just different game modes.

Maybe I'm just uneducated or something, but the whole thing seems silly to me... change the size of the playable area of the map, move spawn points, check a box to add it to another playlist... could there really be any amount of work to these "map packs"? One wonders why they weren't all good to go at launch... well, I don't... it's obviously some sort of trickle-feed/way to make you think you've gotten something when you haven't.

Playing same maps in different modes is nice, but they need to add new maps in general. Lost interest in the game.

BC2 is so much better than CoD! i am glad they came out with this.... but i am still really waiting or the Vietnam map pack!

Yes I do. I brought up this discussion in the Battlefield Group Forums a while back. Unfortunately my argument came across more as an attack on Dice for being lazy and it wasn't my intention. These map packs are nothing more than flipping a switch; setting a flag to be precise. I understand it's a method to increase sales of new over used, which I'm cool with, just don't hype it as new and call it DLC.

New Maps would have been nice... got rid of the game cuz it just got boring playing the same maps over and over again.

the VIP map packs are ok, I really enjoy Laguna Presa Rush mode and Port Valdez with conquest mode, I would like to see a Panama Canal rush mode.

Overall I want new fresh maps, heck even bring back some from BC 1 or even some from BattleField 2 or even before that,I dunno. I still love playing battlefied and it has become my shooter of choice while my Call of Duty MODDED warfare Special edition rip-off sits and collects dust.

Must get back to this one. Played for a couple of days and then Hell, i do not know what happened.

My copy broke, but with all of this new content coming out (technically it's new because it wasn't there before). I'm seriously thinking of picking it up again. The game is awesome, and I've been playing Battlefield 1943 in the meantime to hold me over. I agree that DICE needs to make new maps, but i think getting new things for FREE is better than nothing. Beside, I'm thinking that most of he work is going into BC2: Vietnam, so if any of you sell your copies, you'll be missing out.

Modern warfare 2's maps may be a bit expensive, non-destructible, and small, but at least they're actually NEW!!! Bad company's maps are good, but why did't they just make all the maps compatible with all game modes like MW2? Instead, they release the compatible version of the maps as an EXCUSE for a map pack!!! I'm really getting sick of this. The thing is, it's probably already on the disc. I didn't have to download anything except update the game to play on these maps, as with all the rest of them.

lol at people getting mad at Dice for giving us things for free. so what its the same maps? white pass on rush is completely different from white pass on conquest. i mean, they dont have to keep giving us free stuff. be grateful something from EA is giving us something free for once

Its gonna come down to DICE releasing both map modes on all maps. I Wouldnt mind, i still love bad company 2

I really hope Dice gets the hint that playing the modes on different maps isn't the main thing everyone wants. NEW MAPS POR FAVOR!! But this is definitely something that should be free to the whole community. But I still love bad company. BC2 4 LIFE!!!
