New Bayonetta Figure Demonstrates Lethal Yoga Pose

The fine folks at Tokopop have uncovered a new Bayonetta garage kit. I have no idea what a garage kit is, but it is apparently 1/6 scale and unable to be posed. Details are scarce at the moment, but Tokopop believes it is sculpted by Cerberus Project's Jigoku no Inu, and that this figure should make an appearance at Japan's upcoming Wonder Fest on July 25.

I've seen this pose before, and it may be from the game, but my mind keeps going back to an old Looney Tunes cartoon where Bugs Bunny has to stealthily step over a sleeping Elmer Fudd. Anyone else make this connection?

  • I don't know if the picture's being stretched, but this looks like a Bayonetta sculpture after she'd had some time off from exercise. She's much hotter than this.
  • This is too much. And is her left leg longer than her right leg? WTF?!

  • Bugs Bunny.  Yeah.  I totally see the connection there.

    :)

  • Is that a camel toe i see? lol

  • Nope don't see the connection.

Someone called it, one thigh is longer then the other... lol.

Oh well, no one is perfect... in crafting.

  • this looks really cool, and the level of detail is amazing too.

  • Ah, this must be the camel toe pose...

  • wow anyone who sees that connection is ages old.

i love the game and i love this statue. a must get for a fan.

  • wow she even has her extremely tiny, tiny, way too freakin small head.

  • She looks so gross, I don't think I'll ever play this awkward game.
  • Why is your mind so afraid of the gutter Reiner? I totally see the Bugs Bunny cartoon connection, but it never would have gone there by itself...

But you definitely don't need to be old to see that connection. Everyone loves Bugs Bunny. I'm only in college and I'm pretty sure reruns still show on TV.

And lastly, one leg isn't necessarily longer than the other. It could just be the perspective. The sculpture is really cool and all but I would be afraid of explaining it to other people.

  • Mod

What's with the lack of color?

  • Haha, it's been a while since I've watched Looney Tunes and the details are pretty fuzzy but I might have seen that episode. Anyways, this looks neat... I just really need to get the game. The demo didn't give me enough of a taste.

  • And for those who don't know a garage kit is something that usually needs to be assembled and painted... but it looks like this model only needs to be painted. Hobby shops usually sell a bunch of them.

  • why do the Japanese always get the best stuff. importing is a b*tch!

  • Gosh... and as I read more of these comments people are saying that one leg is longer than the other. I don't know if it is... but it just looks like the lower left leg shifts from the knee down. Maybe it's just me? It'd be easier to tell if there was more of a shadow.

  • That is very pro-babymaking.

  • Yo, this is tight.  I'd get this for one of my shelves..maybe some bowing LEGO figures around it.

  • that is beautiful!

  • Looks cool. I love how the art of Bayonetta just screams sleek and sexy.
