Zombrex Dead Rising Sun Shuffling To Xbox Live, Web In August

Oh, zombie movies. When you’re good, you’re good. When you’re not so good, you’re arguably better. Whichever bucket Zombrex Dead Rising Sun falls into, at least gorehounds can take solace in the fact that it’ll be available for free. The live-action film is being directed by Capcom legend Keiji Inafune, and it’s tied to the upcoming Dead Rising 2. It’s being split into eight chunks, which will first be made available on Xbox Live. A week later, viewers can check it out at www.deadrisingsun.com. Some of the Web broadcasts will contain special interviews with Inafune, where he details the filmmaking process. Prediction: He put fake blood on people and told them to moan.

Here’s the schedule, in case you need to block time off your busy social calendar:

  • This movie better be worth my time... even though my time is worthless.  Well, in any case, it better be good!  You're making a Dead Rising movie. Remember to show some respect.

    That line makes me giggle!
  • I'm so watching these.  Zombie movies are so awesome.  And the downright retarded script makes it even better.

  • Well, at least it's free.  That's always a good thing.

  • This seems like one of those movies that isn't good unless you're with a group of people.

  • It looks ... interesting
