Level-5 Will Bring Non-Layton Titles Stateside

Level-5, the team behind the beloved Professor Layton series, will be sending a few original titles stateside.

Akihiro Hino, Level-5 president, told Nintendo Power that several original titles are headed our way. Role-playing sports game Inazuma Eleven and RPG Ni no Kuni: The Another World have been confirmed. No release date has been announced, but Hino says "I don't think it will that be long before you're able to play these games." How long? Who knows.

  • I believe there are 5 Prof layton games (2 U.S.) in total, and I only play the Prof Layton games on my DS now.  Can we get this series ported to the ipad and have some more adult games developed for the 3DS.  Geez.

  • Level 5 generally makes/ports high quality JRPGs, so I'll be looking forward to anything they release. Still waiting for Dark Cloud 3 or a Rogue Galaxy sequel, but whatever......

  • I hope they're just as good as Prof.  Layton!

  • The artwork looks as if it came from Miazaki, the guy behind Howl's Moving Castle... but I could be wrong.
