LittleBigPlanet Is About To Receive A Huge Dose Of Marvel

At some point you'd think LittleBigPlanet would run out of licenses and characters to feature as Sackboy costumes, but they just keep coming. Today, Marvel announced that costumes from the following characters will be adorning the adorable Sackboy beginning in early July:

Captain America
Daredevil
Doctor Octopus
Elektra
Ghost Rider
Green Goblin
Hulk
Invisible Woman
Iron Man
The Human Torch
Magneto
Mystique
The Punisher
Rogue
Spider-Man
Storm
The Thing
Thor
Venom
Wolverine

If that's not enough comic goodness for you, they're also releasing the Marvel Level Kit. This features four new stages featuring your gang of Sackpeople going up against Magneto. As usual, this pack will also contain a grab bag of stickers, music, and other objects that can be used in your own levels. Look for this DLC to go live on July 7th.

I haven't gotten the other sackboy costumes but this I would actually get. I'll wait for LBP2 though, unless this are transferable.

awesome!!! ill surely be getting the level pack,and ill probably get more than half of those costumes. i still play LBP lots,so i think its great they keep putting out new stuff for it,especially so close to the release of LBP2. come on july 7th!

Bout Time! The Marvel LBP Deal was announced at last year's E3, so I'm glad this didn't get lost in transition somewhere.

I swear I spent the price of this game and then some just on DLC, but it is so worth it to me.

I love expanding Sackboy's Wardrobe as much as some people love expanding their music game libraries.
