Molyneux's Kinect Project Still Exists, Is "10 Times More Amazing" Than Before

The always-modest Peter Molyneux recently addressed his notably-absent-from-E3 Kinect project, saying it's currently "10 times more amazing" than what we saw last year. Speaking to CVG, Molyneux referred to Milo & Kate as playable "in its entirety."

Why it wasn't shown publicly at E3 is a bit of a mystery, especially considering Microsoft's heavy focus on Kinect this year. With all the criticism leveled at the company for featuring mostly casual experiences like minigames and exercise titles, something from a name as respected as Molyneux would have surely helped Kinect's appearance amongst gaming enthusiasts.

  • You know, I really don't care for Kinect. It's a stupid name and a stupid idea. The PS Eye failed years ago and this will fail.

  • I was a little disappointed to not hear anything new about Milo & Kate at E3.  Milo probably gained self-awareness and took over the entire facility.

  • Thanks again Peter for your delusional optimism. Beyond exercise this peripheral is useless.

  • If Molyneux says it, it's GOT TO BE true.

  • Knowing him he probably means there's currently a glitch that causes ten copies of the hero to spawn when you load the game.

  • the language of Molyneux is a bit tricky to understand. it sounds like English but it isn't. so in Molyneux saying that Milo is "10 times more amazing" it actually translates to "not that amazing".

  • Quit busting Molyneux's Faballz Dan. I mean he already had two games playable at this year's E3. Fable 3 and Black & White 3: Rise of the Kinectimals.

Oh and that's a very telling picture of Petey you have up there. He looks like he's promising something and his hands are empty. A visual representation of his empty promises? Either that or he's eating an invisible watermelon.

And finally, the real reason he didn't show Milo and Kate was because it is 10 times more pervier than what we saw last year. He doesn't need that kind of attention and that picture at the top now takes on a whole new meaning.

  • Molyneux say 10 times MO' BETTER! We'll hold you to that. If it's not, then Fat Tony here's gonna break ya's legs. capiche?
  • I'm a hard core gamer, and casual. i like all kinds. but hard core gamers need to get a falking grip, because casual gamers have nothing except sonic racers, so calm the hell down. you got gears of war 3, fable 3, dead space 2, and more. calm the hell down, the earth doesn't revolve around you -- You referring to complainers, not all hardcore gamers. = )

  • Um, I wouldn't sam Molyneux is a respected name. Everybody I know hates him.

And I'm not excited for this new game at all, anything that's on Kinect will blow chunks.

  • Peter Molyneux: “This game is going to change the world as we know it.  And I don't just mean the video game world but the actual planet Earth is going to change overnight”

Translation: You have a dog in the game and you can play fetch with it.

  • Molyneux needs to shut up. His games are mediocre at best.

  • I still by my statement from when I saw kinect FAIL

  • 10 times more amazing? Wow, this guy is a joke. Seriously, alls he ever does is hype up everything and then it falls flat. No thanks P Moly, I don't believe you this time

  • we shall see

  • No THANKS!!!

  • It sure would have helped.

  • Considering how crappy Fable II was i usually just go in the opposite way of whatever he says....

  • Maybe it wasn't shown at E3 because there was already a lot of other stuff to show.  Perhaps they want to wait 'til later when they can take their time showing it off.

I'm not a Molyneux fan and I don't care for how much he hypes his games up, but I am interested in seeing what he's got with Milo & Kate.
