The lights are on
Microsoft finally revealed the name for Project Natal at last week’s E3—Kinect. That’s great and all, but it left out a considerable detail: How much is this thing going to cost? There’s been a lot of speculation about that detail, and a cluster of major retailers has it priced at about $150. Microsoft may have inadvertently confirmed that detail on its official store. Customers can go there now and preorder the unit for…$149.99.
Of course, this could all be a major coincidence, with retailers such as GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, and now Microsoft all arriving at the same make-believe price. It would be awfully strange if that were the case, though. It’s still not official until a Microsoft exec reveals the price to a stunned crowd, but if you’re interested in getting one of these things you may want to slide three $50s into an envelope and put it on a shelf somewhere. Just in case.

guess who aint buying it! seriously 150 I was already on the fence with most the games not looking that good and the price just knocked me off the fence with a bat to the head.
wow i got to get a job i thought they said they where going to lower the price on their games and dust collectors
$150 is'nt as much as i thought it would be. But its still 2 expensive.
i'd rather play a Game Gear
Wait, I just realized that the arcade 360 just dropped to $149.99. I could get another xbox for the price of this crap. Here's my hope as of right now: Nobody buys Kinect, Mircosoft is forced to lower the price to $69.99, and then the sales skyrocket. After the huge sales numbers have been revealed, all sorts of third party developers decide to make games for Kinect.
Short of this, I'm not buying one. Not even a little bit.
It's just like Microsoft to make their new accessory very pricey. Might not be getting that for awhile. :(
Too much for just a stupid little motion thing.
While they were still testing Project Natal, I was told by an article on Gameinformer.com that it was supposed to cost only $50. Man, what a rip-off!
when does it come out
