Blackhawk Toews For NHL 11 Cover

by Matthew Kato on Jun 21, 2010 at 09:15 AM

First he helped Team Canada win the Gold medal in Vancouver, then he captained the Chicago Blackhawks to a Stanley Cup victory. Now Jonathan Toews is on the cover of NHL 11.

The Conn Smyth trophy winner (given to the most valuable player in the playoffs) can now add one more accolade to an already impressive list of accomplishments in his young career. Of course, EA foresaw some of this happening, picking the Blackhawks to win in its simulation of the season.

If Madden cover boys go through the Madden curse, what could possibly go wrong for a guy like Toews, who has gotten everything he ever dreamed of?
