The lights are on
To celebrate the game launches for both Disney Epic Mickey and the new Tron Legacy title coming from Disney Interactive, PDP has come up with some slick ideas to help you dive in head first. As you may have read in our extensive coverage of Epic Mickey, players will be painting the world as they see fit and the brush is the most important tool. Sporting a safe foam tip (which really is a smart idea with the Wii), the Epic Mickey controller is the perfect companion to take along on your adventure though the Cartoon Wasteland. The new paint brush controller will plug into the Wii remote and will have you painting like Jackson Pollock in no time. To top it off, you’ll also get the statue/charger featuring the nasty Ink Blot that Mickey will battle in the game.
Next up, PDP has taken the iconic Tron look everyone loves (and if you don’t, shame on you) and embeds id right into the controller. Sporting sweet blue neon lights, the PSP controllers are coming out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. While the Epic Mickey gear doesn’t have a price or release date yet, the Tron Legacy controllers will all retails for $50 bucks and be in your hands this fall.
I would get it, if only they were wireless.
LOL, PSP controllers epic typo
can we ditch the wires? they are so ugly and wireless would be hotter!
Whats with all the spelling errors in the last paragraph?
That Tron WII controller is amazing looking, but I think I'll be getting the Xbox version.
tron controllers r cool might get 1 for 360 if its wireless and it really is a blue led and not just a sticker
ehh i wished the PS3 one looked better. i like the xbox one alot but i dont have an xbox lol.
Also, all you super * smarties: if the Tron controller wasn't wired, you'd be going through batteries at about 2x the normal rate -unless you can kill the lights, in which case, what's the point?
There your puny logic is defeated. Thanks for playing.
Well I'm due for some new controllers. At least the there's a cord for the 360 one. I won't get the Tron remote for Wii though. It'll probably just eat away batteries faster. And at one point you guys said PSP controllers? Haha, I've been finding so many typos in these articles. Perhaps you should revise them before you post them? Honestly, Gameinformer isn't what it used to be. You guys have sent me a few ripped issues and I'm missing 2 or 3. Then you make it out to be my fault? Haha, I hadn't missed an issue until now and I've been a member for about 6 years. I'm starting to reconsider.
And another thing. The site takes about twice as long to load. It's gotten so slow.
Man those are sweet, but are the PS3 & Xbox wierd? My favorit is the Wii one by far, and I've woren through all my Xbox controllers so I think this will be a nice add to the collection of remotes I have..
Can't believe I'm saying this about Mickey themed controllers, but those look sick.
Can't believe I'm saying this about Mickey themed controllers, but those look sick. I'd say they're more akin to Avatar, The Last Airbender themed
i dig the tron controllers. the mickey one is cool too
I'm loving the Wii Remote for Tron and the controller/stand for Epic Mickey. I wouldn't buy either of them because I'm a poor kid but they look really cool.
I'm definitely not a fan of wired controllers but, and someone brought this up earlier, I'd rather have a wired controller if it looked like that. I like not having to go through a new set of batteries every couple hours. And that's why I wouldn't buy the Tron Wii Remote, because that thing would eat through batteries like a fat kid eats through a chocolate cake...
But they look really good.
Yeah the Xbox controllers look badass...
WIN!
Can you get the PS3 controller without that little 20 year old thing on the top? What's it called...OH. A WIRE!!
