Donkey Kong Country Returns in Barrel Busting New Video

Nintendo always looks to its past to define its future, and we couldn't be more pleased at the news that Donkey Kong Country Returns is bringing back the beloved SNES 2D platformer to the Wii. This new trailer shows off a ton of gameplay, all of which looks awesome. It's just like the old days, but better.

  • Yea baby, time to go buy the old DKC and refresh my memory of it's awesomeness!!!

  • A testament to gameplay over graphics.  Nintendo detractors, insert foot in mouth.

  • why is Nintendo so d@mn good at making games? maybe because of the three big consoles (360, PS3, Wii), Nintendo is the only company the focuses only on games but MS and Sony have other things like computer hardware and software as well as televisions and bluray. Nintendo ONLY does games so it's no wonder they are so *** good.

  • YES!!!!!!!!

  • This game looks great. Definitely seems like they did everything right.

  • Very impressive trailer, I especially liked the part with the sunset, some really impressive artwork in this game.  I think the Wii will be getting back on its feet :)

  • Seeing this year's E3, I think we can all agree that First Place goes to Nintendo, Second to Sony, and Third to Microsoft.
