The lights are on
When Nintendo first announced the 3DS back in March, we were told the name 3DS was just temporary. Today that name became permanent.
Satoru Iwata is showing off the 3DS to the crowd at Nintendo's press conference right now, and we'll have all the details for you soon. But as you can see from the picture, the 3DS copies the design of the DS, but has a larger top screen, and an analog stick. Oh yeah, and it can display 3D graphics without the use of glasses. Hence the name. We'll have more details in just a few minutes, plus extended coverage over the rest of the week.
