Ubisoft Announces Innergy For PC

by Bryan Vore on Jun 14, 2010 at 03:15 PM

In what looks like a move to beat Nintendo's Vitality Sensor to the punch, Ubisoft just revealed a new peripheral that fits on the tip of your finger at its press conference.

The device measures your breathing and represents the process onscreen using a tadpole that rises and lowers along what looks like a sine wave. The art style is reminiscent of Sony games like Locoroco and Patapon.

You can plug this into a computer anywhere to run through these exercises. Ubisoft claims that this will not only help you relax but also allegedly provides a six-hour immunity boost and can lower your blood pressure by an amount equivalent to losing 20 pounds.

This sounds like something we could all use at E3, and hopefully we'll get a chance to try it on the show floor in the next couple of days.
