Ubisoft Announces Michael Jackson Dance Game

by Annette Gonzalez on Jun 14, 2010 at 04:10 PM

As part of Ubisoft's big finale, the company released a banner on the stage's projector screen revealing a silhouette of Michael Jackson and the Ubisoft logo. The late Jackson's hit "Beat It" blared through the speakers as a group of dancers took the stage to perform some of The King of Pop's iconic moves. We're then told we'll soon learn to be as good these dancers or even better (they're pretty good). That's it. Is a Michael Jackson dance game on the horizon? Kinect or Move compatible?

Ubisoft has sent out a release stating that yes, there will in fact be an interactive performance-based game allowing players to "step into the shoes of Michael Jackson himself." You can sing and dance to Jackson's most popular tracks such as "Billie Jean," "Beat It," and more.

The game is announced for Kinect, Move, Wii, and somehow for PSP and DS this holiday. If it is available for demo on the E3 show floor, which GI staffer do you want to see bust a move?
