Bejeweled 2 Launches On WiiWare
Casual gaming masters PopCap released Bejeweled 2 on WiiWare this morning. The game, which features 100 percent of the gameplay present on the thousand or so other platforms Bejeweled is available on, costs $10 worth of Wii Points.
Your cries have been heard, gamers. You can finally integrate your Miis into your match-3 experience. If your Wii is hooked up to the Internet because you're some kind of networking completionist, you can even check out global leaderboards. Finally -- and this is really going to blow your mind -- you can waggle to your heart's content by using one of four control schemes, though the classic controller is also supported.
I snark, but Bejeweled is legit. And $10 on Wii beats the $20 that PopCap is still asking for the PC/Mac version.
