A New Revolution Is Coming In Latest Gran Turismo Trailer

"A new revolution is coming" according to the latest Gran Turismo 5 trailer. Photorealistic cars zoom down tracks in CG glory to "Big Bad Wolf" by U.K. band The Heavy in the latest media. We still haven't seen much in the way of gameplay footage, but then again there's a certain industry event coming up that might make the perfect place for it.

  • this game will be the most realistic racing game to date

  • Go GT, go!

    Its looking muchly good.

  • *** those graphics look nice.

  • For how long they've been working on this game, and how many times they've pushed the release date back, it had better look photo realistic and the gameplay had better be flawless...

  • looks drop dead gorgeous

  • Oh man this game will be good.

  • There's damage in the game. I don't remember seeing it in 4 :S

I haven't played a GT game in forever though.

  • This game looks phenomenal as it should considering how long they have been working on it. However, the trailer only shows how amazing the game looks. Hopefully, at E3 we get more information on how well the gameplay is.

  • It is a matter of time before we can completely re-create the whole world on our machines. THE MATRIX IS COMING.

*side note* Mother F%&@ing Ps3 exclusives!!!*

  • Not suprised, looks great...better look great for the time it's taking them to get the *** game to market.

  • last time i played a gt game was back on the ps1. this may make me try this one out. pretty pretty cars.

  • The graphics look amazing, but I have never been able to play a racing sim for more than an hour. Just not my cup of tea.

  • By the time this game comes out Turn 10 will have Forza 4 completed.  Are they ever planning to release this?

  • I dont own a PS3 but i am hoping this game brings it so turn 10 will have to step it up in forza 4. we have all seen what happend to football with madden when there is no one making great games in your ganre you get lazy and greedy, so lets hope theys two keep fighting to be king.

  • (Ps3 people get ready to hate) Am I the only one who can't really see a difference in the cars graphics between this and forza? The tracks look better but to me the cars look a lot like forza 3 cars (not that that's a bad thing).

  • This is what a racing game should look like!

  • *YAWN*

Wake me up when they actually announce a release date.

  • cool

  • I'm a gamer on a budget, so I only like to spend my money on games with TONS of replay value and/or online play. I remember YEARS ago, in the PS1 days, my friend had the first GT. I played it, and the game was so deep, it was insane. It was unlike anything I've ever seen in a racing game. The features and customization options took me by complete surprise(I thought it was just a simple racing game, not a sim). From then on, I always wanted to purchase a GT for myself. The closest I got was when I rented A-spec from Hollywood Video when it first released, and right when I got the hang of it it was due back("5 DAYS, INCLUDING NEW RELEAAASEEEESSSS!"). While it was a fun game, I wanted something that was....Well SSX and GTA 3 and lots of other PS2 games were higher on my list of wants. My PS2 died by the time 4 came out and since I had the 'Cube and 'Box, I didn't feel the need to purchase another. Now I'm older and a lil' tighter on my pockets when it comes to games. After seeing this trailer, i'm extremely close to pre-ordering this game and I never pre-ordered a game in my life. I know Polyphony is gonna put out something deep, realistic, AND fun. And, I'm ready...
  • Looks great.  I just hope they add an exciting element to this near simulation experience.
