Spare Parts Brings Robotic Co-Op To XBLA And PSN

EA Play just put out a press release announcing Spare Parts, an upcoming co-op downloadable game. It revolves around two robots named Mar-T and Chip, who get stranded on an alien planet. As one could expect, there are plenty of baddies that wish them harm, so the two must find a way to repair their broken spaceship and get the hell out of Dodge.

It sounds a bit like Pikmin, but it appears that this game will be heavier on action elements. Parts you collect won't strictly be for your ship, as you'll be putting together gadgets like rocket boots to aid in your quest to escape. Look for more on the game leading up to its release this Winter.
