The lights are on
We're all expecting to hear more about Nintendo's new 3D handheld at E3 this year, but will third party developers be showing anything off? According to the scuttlebutt we've been hearing recently, Nintendo is giving developers the go-ahead to reveal their wares once the annual expo begins.
What potential third party titles will be announced still remains a mystery, and it's unclear how much hands-on time third party developers have gotten with the new hardware. Beyond the inevitable party games and gimmicky demos, we're optimistic that some talented developers will put the unique capabilities of the new system to good use.
If you'd like to hear our guesses as to what might be announced, we'll be posting our E3 predictions all week long. In the mean time, what third party game would you most like to see land on the 3DS?

i heard the 3ds will have graphics that are better then the wii's. I heard this news at ign, so of course it isnt very reliable:)
nice virtual boy screen lol
A World Ends With You sequel should be on the 3DS especially if there is signifigantly larger space on whatever kind of cartridge is used (as rumors point to) so as to be able to have more locations, music, and voices. The first was great so I just want to see a sequel. I don't care or not if the 3D part is used or not.
Resident Evil in 3D would be an interesting combination.
It looks pretty cool, can't wait for more news during E3.
Soooo, If they are demoing "3DS" Games will the be doing so on a 3DS prototype? Before Nintendo actually reveals it? ~_o
How 'bout a Kirby game? Haven't seen one of those in a while.
"what third party game would you most like to see land on the 3DS"
Hard to say without knowing the details of the hardware.
I would like to see at least one of the following:
1.) A port of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (or just any good Zelda game for the DS that doesn't have the dumb WindWaker graphics).
2.) A SSB game (maybe even just the original SSB).
3.) Maybe a good shooter for a change?
I think even if they made just one of those I might be tempted to get a 3DS, but especially if it is option 1 and/or 2.
dam thats so tarded. whats with this stupid 3D crap. first tvs now a gamesystem it'll be kewl the FIRST time you use it, then itll get rlly annoying.
i am holding my hopes on this for the e3 overall, the motion stuff just ain't my fave at all.
another metroid hmm perhaps metroid dread?
Well glad Nintendo is taking this DS seriously, hopefully the 3D is good and adds more then just that, the DSi didn't really do much that had wow factor to it.

I completely agree with you, a sequel to The World Ends With You would be completely awesome. Especially considering those loose ends revealed on the secret reports...
Oh god. If third party developers do on the 3DS what they did on the Wii, Nintendo could be in for some bad criticism, regardless of how good the Nintendo-produced games turn out.
not really interested to be honest. after the game boy fell off I kinda stopped caring for handhelds
want more news
I'd love to see as much third-party support for this handheld as possible, I'm just hoping that they can pull this off. I don't want the 3DS to be destined for a gimmicky future...
Nice, maybe we'll get to see what this warlock looks like.
