The lights are on
English developer Ninja Theory has been working on Enslaved: Odyssey to the West for some time now, but we haven’t seen a lot of new info on the game since it was first announced last summer. Fortunately the game’s new E3 trailer teases a few new details.
This far future, post-apocalyptic action game about a man named Monkey who gets roped into helping a girl find her way home should please fans of Ninja Theory’s last game, Heavenly Sword. This new trailer shows off a hover board sequence and a strange cyborg gentleman who could be important to the plot. We should know more next week after playing the game at E3.

Looks good. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
this is turning out to be a pretty amazing looking game.
This game looks pretty cool. I need to up my PS3 library, I only have Killzone2. I know lame. I want MGS4, GOW3, Uncharted2, Little Big Planet, Infamous. The list goes on but I am just to hooked on my 360. Lame in its own right.
the previous gameplay trailer (the one featuring the platforming) had me thinking it wasn't going to be that great. however, this trailer makes me feel a lot better about the progress of this game. please don't let this game suck!
The story has me intrigued. Let the game play be as good as it looks like it might be, and this may be a but for me.
I've been meaning to give Heavenly Sword a shot
This might be the game I'm most looking forward to learning more about at E3. Unless, of course, Valve talks about Half-Life 3. Then it's a different ballgame.
Definitely looks like the storytelling is going to be top-notch, just like Heavenly Sword. I'm not convinced that the gameplay will be top-notch, though. I still consider Ninja Gaiden Black to be "the bar."
Looking niiiice, very smooth. The voices are a bit different then I expected them to be, in a good way though, I think..
Very cool, wonder how it will do.
For some reason this reminds me of Jak and Daxter.
Now that looks pretty cool! Much more polished than anything we've seen thus far.
sweeeeeeet I might get this
Definitely looks great— I just hope it has more to it than a 10-hour SP story that you won't ever play through a second time.
I dident think this game looked good when GI first put in out... But that looked bad@ss, this my be a great story, and relationship between characters this game is worth checking out....
Man, I can never tell how good a game is going to be from these kinds of trailers. I need to see extensive gameplay.
I am not really a fan of sub names either.
So is the story or characters roughly based on the Chinese Monkey King fables (as one of them is known as Journey to the West)?
Anyone else getting a Yuna vibe from that girl?
Interesting, but still not convinced that this will be a good game.
Too much trailer, not enough gameplay. I'll let the game speak for itself. Can't say I didn't enjoy watching the trailer, though.
