The lights are on
Since its inception in1996, Pokémon has remained relevant in gaming culture. Of course the fanatic fervor has calmed since the late 90s, but I still remember a time when each new Pikachu-branded product made me feel warm and fuzzy. Pokémon Snap, a photography game for the N64 was one of those surprising spin-offs that proved to be just as much fun as the main entries. For this weeks Replay, we take a look back at the on-rails shutterbug shooter.
Join Andrew Reiner, Dan Ryckert, Phil Kollar, and I as we travel across Professor Oak's natural Pokémon habitat. We cruise the beach, a river, and even a fiery volcano in search of shots that outshine the photographs already saved onto the dusty N64 cartridge. Keep your eyes peeled for marvels like incapacitated Charmeleons, infuriatingly stupid Slowpokes, and emotionally confused Magmars. Remember to stay tuned after the Pokémon Snap Replay for an extra special, and extra educational Replay Roulette. (Be patient, the video takes a minute or two to load).

fantastic replay Elmo is soon to be the death of us all
I love how the text refers to the Link to the Past super replay in future tense, when in fact, it is now finished. Oh and if Dan is looking at these comments, cinnamon cookies are great.
i only ever played Pokemon Snap in Blockbuster back in the day. my parents on weekends went to blockbuster to rent movies while i ran straight to the Pokemon Snap station and played the hell out of it. i wanted the game but could never get the N64 due to it being too expensive and not having enough money. and Metapod evolves into Butterfree, not Kakuna. Kakuna evolves into Beedrill. yup, i am a PokeGeek!
Snap, snap, snap, snap
It wont play for me.
hmmm video isn't working for me
For all you people that the video isn't working for. I had to let the intier video load before it would play( I don't have a clue why).
hahahahahaha wow one of the best replays in awhile. that elmo game was good stuff
Video player not working.
Hmmm, the video worked just fine for me. Excellent Replay, I remember playing this game and Pokemon Stadium, the latter was a lot better though. That said, I can't stand Pokemon anymore, lol.
And Elmo looked dreadful...
Why did you guys wuss out at the boss fight versus the clown? I could've taken him.
AH! my eyes are burning... This game was so awful
Loved that game.
Can't view the replay. :(
Do a replay of an NBA live from 2000 or before.
I used to be ridiculous at this game...I don't know if that's something to be proud of though. Anyway, I always liked this game growing up, as I was a huge Pokeman fan, so it's nice to see the replay
Ironically, I found this old cartridge in my closet just the other day. Shame the game was so short, clocking in at just over an hour and a half if you know what to do.
Oh wow, and they still got a regular replay in this week after the mega awesome spectacular that is the Super Replay! Thanks for posting this and keeping us entertained on a Saturday Mr. Turi.
My only exposure to Pokemon snap was the kiosk at the Blockbuster stores. The one by me sat there for a year but it was only turned on for maybe the first few weeks. I've never come across anyone who actually played it let alone played the hell out of it.
I vote for no more replays of any games that will make Tim exclaim "Look how cute he is!"
good replay play rugrats search for reptar in the next one
