Mafia II Collector's Edition, Preorder Bonuses Revealed
2K Games is gearing up for the August 24 release of its Mafia II, and it's hoping to entice players with a bit of info for those who plan ahead. First, a collector's edition is in the works, which includes a SteelBook hard case, exclusive access to Made Man DLC (including two suits and a pair of luxury autos), an art book, a soundtrack CD, and a map of the game's Empire Bay city. It'll set PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners back about $80, and PC players can get it for $70.
Beyond that, players who preorder the game score a few goodies, too. If you go through GameStop, you'll get the Vegas Pack and War Hero Pack, each of which includes a pair of cars and some sweet threads. Amazon customers get the Renegade Pack, which includes a sports coupe and '50s style hot rod, as well as letterman and leather jackets. Best Buy customers score the Greaser Pack, which includes two fast hot rods and a leather racing suit and leather jacket with boots.
