Torchlight On iPad?

Torchlight lead Travis Baldree noted this morning in a forum post that he has "been planning to fiddle around with the Ogre3D iPhone SDK to see if an iPad port is feasible." Yes, please!

As a straight-up Diablo-style point-and-hack adventure, Torchlight is an excellent candidate for the iPad treatment. Touch monsters to chop them to bits: how could it not be awesome?

Along with Portal, Torchlight is one of just two titles that will be newly available on Mac with the May 12 Steam launch on the platform.

Torchlight on the iPad sounds cool. Rebuying Torchlight for the iPad does not.

that would be pretty sweet... I've been wanting to tryout Torchlight and if it ports well it might be good insentive since the iPad already has Plants vs Zombies and Comand and Conquer

i don't about this. I htink touch screen games are wierd without a stylus (that's because i'm used to the ds) plus I do not want to smudge the screen
