In Death Race 2000, David Carradine had to deal with murderous traffic, assassination attempts, and a younger, healthier Sylvester Stallone. But in Disney’s new Split/Second – a game based around a similar destruction derby reality show – players will have to contend with murderous, missile-launching helicopters.

In this video, game director Nick Baynes talks about the game’s Air Strike and Air Revenge modes, two thrilling modes that pit players against a chopper. See how to take it down below.

    I love games like this that are just pure fun. Don't get me wrong I love a good racing sim or sports game, but every once in a while I need something completely over the top.

    I had pretty much written this game off as 'Burnout on Cocaine' but that trailer shut me right up.

    Does anyone know how Blur is looking? Interested to see which game turns out better

    Walt Disney Would Be Proud To See That His Company Is Going Back To Being Back To What They Used To Be. This, Kingdom Hearts, Epic Mickey, And Toy Story 3 Seems To Be A Sign Saying That Disney Is Going Back To Their Roots. If They Get Rid Of Jonas And Hannah Montana S**t, The World Will Soon Be In A Better Place.

    This game needs to be released NOW!!! Ever since I saw the first trailer for this game I have been waiting for it to release. I needed something to fill the empty hole in my soul left in the wake of Burnout Revenge's awesomeness, and Burnout Paradise failed miserably. I hope this game can step up.... The demo was DOPE

    Well it basically looks like burnout paradise with slighty less intense graphics but bigger explosions. Unfortunately the guys voice was slightly annoying and didnt really help make Split Second seem any more badass.

    This game is going to be incredible.
