What would a robust character editor be without an easy way to share custom characters with the world? To this end, 3D Dot Game Heroes has opened up the doors to a hub where crafty gamers can upload their awesome creations. Greedier folk can download new heroes, too.

We can't wait to see what zany protagonists the folks playing 3D Dot Game Heroes come up with. I'm sure there will be more than a few Links to choose from, but what about other gaming legends you know you'll want to play as like Mario, Mega Man, and Cecil from FF IV. Even better, what about the characters you didn't know you wanted to play as, like perhaps... a chair, or... roll of duct tape? I don't know... maybe that's why I'm not creating any characters right now.

This game is such a throwback to classic times! With the ability to make characters of all kinds this will make the game even more fun.

Still don't understand why this is PS3 only. Seems basic enough for Wii and why not 360? I want to give this a shot, but they make it exclusive for the one console I don't have.

It's pretty limited, I think it's something like 16x16. I was trying to make Butters from South Park and didn't have enough space.

The game is so much fun, though.
