New DS Harvest Moon Set For This Summer

by Annette Gonzalez on May 06, 2010 at 07:00 AM

Developer Natsume has announced today the latest title in the Harvest Moon franchise, Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar for Nintendo DS. The family-friendly title is slated for a July release.

"Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar is another great entry in the Harvest Moon series. It has a fun story and a great new cast of colorful characters," said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume. "It's loaded with exciting new features like the ability to run your own shop and a multiplayer mode in which you can invite other friends to your farm!"

In Grand Bazaar, Zephyr Town's merchant hotspot is slowly losing customers and it's up to players to turn things around. You'll raise animals, harvest crops, and anything else you'd expect out of Harvest Moon, then sell your wares. While we don't have many other details at this time, Natsume says the game will make its first public appearance at E3.

Those who want to secure their copy can pre-order at GameStop for a limited edition horse plushie.
