No big surprise – throngs of people continue to play games on Xbox Live. We’ve got Major Nelson’s official Xbox Live connectivity breakdown for the week of April 26.

Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3 continue to rein supreme as far as full retail releases are concerned, with Call of Duty: World at War usurping Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the number three spot. The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai grabs the top arcade spot, and Baby Maker Extreme keeps it’s appeal in the indie section. Full figures can be found below.

    i know this isnt an online game but im having a lot of trouble getting immersed in mass effect, i have tried several times to play but the farthest i get is getting off the citadel for the first time then i usually just give up. Anyone else have this problem? i also had the same problem with gta4, oblivion, and fallout 3

    Maybe your just not ready to play them, i still have not started fallout 3 its been sitting with my other games for a couple months and i have to wait till i have played all my new games and there is nothing else to play before i go back to oblivion. I find it easier to get into the big games when your not thinking of another game and can just concentrate on the massive world that is games like oblivion,fallout3 & mass effect

    Splinter Cell Conviction has been stealing all of my time. The Co-op campaign was very well done and I only experienced a connection problem once the whole play through. I need to go through it again on realistic difficulty.

    Surprised to see Quantum of Solace in the windows list even though it was a great game.

    It's crazy that there are only five full games on the LIVE list that aren't shooters. It's crazier still that Halo 3 is going so strong, considering it's been nearly three years since its release. It's older than everything else on this list!

    Will Reach take some of Halo 3's thunder?

    kop_hooligan, you must not be a RPG kind of person.  If you cannot get into any of those games, that genre must not be your thing.
