Ubisoft Announces Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2

Last week rumors cropped up about two unannounced Tom Clancy games that were in development. Today, one of those games has been unveiled as H.A.W.X. 2, the game with a name that's annoying to type. It's heading to Wii, PS3, 360, and PC this Fall.

Being developed by Ubisoft Bucharest, H.A.W.X. 2 will put gamers in the pilot seat of an elite aerial soldier. Expect to do a lot of flying amid exploding locales while utilizing the latest kill-stuff-in-the-air technology.

“With over one million units sold worldwide, Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. has become a very successful brand for Ubisoft,” said creative director Bogdan Bridinel. “This new H.A.W.X. game is directly inspired by Tom Clancy’s books, and it will enable fans to once again experience the excitement and intensity that established H.A.W.X. as a successful brand.”

@everyone else, I can't wait for HAWX 2. The first one was so much fun. After all, in what other game do they teach you to stall as a technique to lose an enemy missile lock? (the answer is NONE!)

i was expectin this, however not being released this soon, i hope they do a better job w/ multi-player but i loved the originals' single-player campaign mode

anyway, i loved the first H.A.W.X i hope H.A.W.X 2 gets some new stuff, like customizable loadouts for our planes :D

It took me forever to get used to the controls in H.A.W.X. Maybe 2 will control the same and I won't have to relearn that ***.

I am so happy to hear about this!! This industry is FLOODED with FPS, I am so happy they kept this IP alive!! THis beat all the simulators on the market, past and present! The only thing they need with the new release is ILS - Please include landing and take offs, PLEASE. Its the only part missing from FULL simulation. Nothing is more nail biting then landing a beat up aircraft after a mission. Or possble Aircraft Carrier landings!! Or DLC that includes missions right out of CNN! Make them "history" missions so we can enjoy the battle scenerios of today too! GREAT WORK UBISOFT!!! Industry needs this!

Yes i loved the first one, hope they take out multiplayer and focus on single player(maybe they could put coop in). the multiplayer in the first was terrible

Uhhh ok lol, I played the first one and it was horrible, Compared to Ace Combat this is just bad, it looks better visually than Ace Combat in some ways but the overall gameplay isnt very good.
