MW2 Stimulus Package Hits PS3, PC Today

Today PS3 and PC users with copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 can relish in the five map packs available now...in the states. Europe and Australia will have to wait just one more day as the DLC will hit these regions tomorrow, May 5.

The Stimulus Package features the locations 360 owners have already had a chance to blast through including three new locations "Bailout," "Storm," and "Salvage" plus Call of Duty 4's "Crash" and "Overgrown."

The package is available for roughly 15 bucks on PSN and Steam. Who's planning on parting with some money today?

Activision and what's left of Infinity Ward also thought you should know they will host nearly a week of double XP on both PSN and PC May 4 through May 9.

  • My brother will love this news... I don't play Call of Duty, though... :-P

  • meh, probably not

  • yeah this game is cool but not worth blowing 15 dollars for its DLC.

  • SUPER DOPE!! Been waiting for this s**t for a minute now! I ain't got a *** thing else to play right now so I'm definitely gettin this!
Hate to spend 15 smackeroos in this b*tch but I never play the first MW online so it's like I'm gettin' 5 new maps instead of just 3. Sucks for people who are only basically getting 3 though.

    PEACE to the OUT!!

Off to the Playstation Store for me!!

EDIT: I got it. Not bad. Could be better.

RE-EDIT-Guess they havn't updated the PS Store yet. Any word on when they will, anyone?

I'M HAVIN' WITHDRAWS, YO! I GOTTA HAVE IT!
  • yayea!!!!! i want Storm and Crash!!!! the other maps suck and are a disgrace to be even called maps.

  • SWEET DOWNLOADING NOW worth the cost to me as I'm getting it for the low low price of free because my friends bought it instantly
  • been almost a month since i traded it in and to be honest havent really missed it all to much.

  • I'd like to think that between all the controversy with Activison and Infinity Ward, the ridiculous 15 dollar price tag and the concern over the rampant cheating online in CoD the sales for this stimulus pack will come in well below expectations forcing Activision to consider rethinking their business and pricing models.

But for some reason I'm convinced it will fly off the "e-shelfs".

  • If they think 3 bucks a map is a fare price. then $48 of the $60 bucks we spent when we bought MW2 was for the maps.

  • Yeah, $15 bucks ain't that bad, pretty good price, I just wished they would've added a new gun or somethin else. But I'm still gonna get it

  • i dont want to buy it but my dads making me

  • I love the Negative Nancys. Do you really think I care how much you hate the game or how you gave it away a month ago.

  • Getting it as soon as it hits PSN. :)

  • @ Stonecoldrosie.

Do you think they care that you don't care? :P

  • I own MW2 for 360 and PS3, but hardly log on with PS3... I still might pick it up x.x

  • nah, too many games coming out in may.

  • My brain keeps telling me not to, but I just can't pass it up.

  • boring... 360 is the only way to play MW

    ps3 users are laame!

    muhahahaha

  • Ripoff, but AWESOME!
