Per the official Facebook page, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will launch on October 26, 2010. The game is more than likely about wrecking dudes with lightsabers and Force powers -- and aside from whiny teenagers, what else is Star Wars really about?

The good news is that The Force Unleashed II doesn't have a stupid subtitle screwing up its name. The bad news is that the apprentice returns, and is still named Starkiller. Who thought this was a good idea?

We'll be sure to come back at you with more news and details on The Force Unleashed II as they become available. In the meantime, salivate over the thought of how much more havoc you'll be able to wreak when wielding two lightsabers instead of a measly one.

dont they know using two sabers or the double bladed saber terribly restrict fightin styles, one saber and a whole lotta the Force for me please,

Is this still official canon or have they (if they had any sense) called a mulligan on this? Joe Bob Apprentice Starkiller sucks. Give me a whole game where I wreck faces with Vader and I'll buy it. I don't want to be this guy again. I didn't even want to be him in the first place.

I played the first one and thought it was pretty good--but on another note I love how people are still getting excited about wielding lightsabers...but my question is has the wielding a lightsaber ever really panned out in any of the games youve played....ive been mostly disappointed with lightsabers--might as well watch the movies and use my imagination

Additional Note:

I haven't been very impressed with many of the LucasArts games...they all just seem to fall short...or they are short sighted from the start...its like they are all riding on episodes 4-6...well kind of like episodes 1-3 did...i think my most memorable experiences with Lucas Arts include Darkforces/X-wing/X-wing Vs Tie-Fighter and Rogue Squadron(N64)...everything else by them has either been lackluster or has completely **** the bed.

Judging by the trailer i would say it is based on the ending where you do not become a robot like vader,(i heard the "Evil" ending of Star Wars:TFU wasn't supposed to be cannon anyways).
