The lights are on
For a while, rumors have been circulating that Treyarch’s next Call of Duty title would take place during the Vietnam War. We've got the first video of the recently-announced Call of Duty: Black Ops, and some of the snippets shown here certainly look Vietnam-like, but its hard to tell when you're looking at video clips that are five frames long. I also have to wonder what the medical room voiceover is all about. Could Call of Duty be experimenting with some F.E.A.R.-like genetic super-powers?
Check out the video for yourself below.

Good trailer. That's all I'll say at this point.
That trailer was awesome! I hope the game is as cool as the trailer. It also looks like there are vehicles to use in this and since flying helicopters in BC2 is fun, this should be an awesome game.
some parts look 3rd person
... this trailer shows nothing of interest. a few shots of what appears to be gameplay and i think i saw an astronaut. i care very little for this game and even less for the trailer. however, it's far too early to tell if this game will be good or not. i'll reserve my full judgment until then.
that was confusing. I hope Treyarch does a good job with the game.
Looks Good, I cant wait to see more :)
If they do experiment with super powers, it would destroy the franchises goal of realistic warfare.
I like battlefield better but this looks pretty cool. What time period is this in?
I like the graphics a lot, but it's still a Treyarch developed CoD game :(
urrmm.. that looks good as a game, but it doesnt really feel like it fits in with any of the other cod games... seems like theyre ruining what makes cod, cod
this game is gonna be awesome
Looks interesting. I will withhold judgment until I hear and see more of it.
I really like Treyarch and CoD WaW so I will probably get this. Maybe even my first ever pre-order. Awesome trailer.
Okay I know Treyarch does the unexpected failiers, but this for me actually looks promising, I hope.
sigh. this seris just keeps going.
I just don't want to get too into it, like I did MW2, but Treyarch definitely made a more complete game from MW2 with WaW. My hopes are still low though, with the mention of a fee to play CoD, but I really don't care with RDR coming out.
Well that trailer told me absolutely nothing.
