The lights are on
For a while, rumors have been circulating that Treyarch’s next Call of Duty title would take place during the Vietnam War. We've got the first video of the recently-announced Call of Duty: Black Ops, and some of the snippets shown here certainly look Vietnam-like, but its hard to tell when you're looking at video clips that are five frames long. I also have to wonder what the medical room voiceover is all about. Could Call of Duty be experimenting with some F.E.A.R.-like genetic super-powers?
Check out the video for yourself below.

I'll admit ... nice vid ...
i loved CoD4, hated WaW, indifferent about MW2, and loving BFBC2 ... it's gonna take a big effort to topple Battlefield's EPIC multiplayer
i just can't get into "old war" games i guess i prefer the present/near future and the year 2142 (hint hint DICE)
looks like vietnam with a dish of the future. looks like you start off with vietnam and bring the the battles current ( the cold war ) and maybe irag or afghanistan.
Ya know I think that the man in the medical room was taken out of the black ops and they errased his memory. then the voice says this will help you remember which probably mean that they're gonna bring him back because he has information they need.
Just a guess...
personaly,im a call of duty fan i just hope its better than modern warfare 2 and this time it has multiplayer.the trailer for it looks pretty cool.I look forward to buying it.
