Just Cause 2’s DLC Double Whammy

by Ben Reeves on Apr 26, 2010 at 01:45 PM

Just Cause 2 owners have been cruising around in their pink ice cream trucks for nearly a month now, so maybe it’s time to upgrade those wheels for something with a little more firepower. Avalanche Studios anticipated this need and has planned two DLC packs for the game, one of which will be available this Thursday.

The first DLC release is called the Black Market Aerial Pack. This download throws you the keys to a F-33 DragonFly Jet Fighter -- an attack plane with quad-mounted miniguns and double missile launchers. If that’s not enough, you’ll also get Dual Parachute Thrusters designed to let you to soar through the air with your parachute and a Multi-lock Missile Launcher. This DLC pack will be available on April 29 for $1.99.

The second DLC release won’t be available until May 25. Called Black Market Boom Pack, this download will give you a new arsenal of highly destructive firepower, including a half shotgun, half rocket launcher monstrosity called the Quad Rocket Launcher, a Cluster Bomb Launcher, and the Air Propulsion Gun, a highly experimental, jet-powered weapon powerful enough to send vehicles skyward. No price has been given for this second pack.
