Jill Valentine Joins Video Game Masterpiece Series

by Andrew Reiner on Apr 23, 2010 at 01:10 PM

Hot Toys' Video Game Masterpiece line of figures remains fixated solely on Resident Evil. Albert Wesker, Chris Redfield, Sheva Alomar, Leon S. Kennedy, that chainsaw-wielding freak with a burlap sack for a face, and the character nobody can seem to name (Jack Krauser), have all been turned into figures.

In my book, Jill Valentine should have been the second figure made, with Barry Burton, the coolest character in Resident Evil history, receiving the honor of going first. The Jill figure isn't due out until the third quarter of this year, but looks like it will be well worth the wait. This figure is based off of her Resident Evil 5 B.S.A.A. attire, and comes packaged with over a dozen of optional pieces, including three interchangeable palms, and a black tactical vest. Like all of Hot Toys' Resident Evil releases, this one will carry a steep sticker price of around 200 dollars.
