New Natal Games Uncovered?
Hollywood is full of gossip, and there's a new tidbit out there. It may not be as explosive as who's now cheating on who, but we think you'll like this one a bit more because it involves some potential previously unannounced Natal titles.
Slither and Dawn of the Dead screenwriter James Gunn talked about his recent experiences with Natal at an LA event. Gunn says that a new title called River Rush was playable at the event. The game involves two people playing at the same time, each floating down a river on rafts. To move the raft you step left or right, and you have to jump in the air so your avatar can hit stars floating above you. Said Gunn of the game: "This game was even more exhilarating than [Ricochet], and even more aerobically challenging."
Gunn also said that he was told football and boxing games are in development for the device, but he didn't name any franchises or licenses. Although we know that EA is working with the technology, we wouldn't be surprised if there is a Wii Sports-like offering using the sports.
